He and police know - they apparently aren't interested in added revenue from the issuance of traffic tickets.....someone will pay dearly if someone gets hurt. I travel this area most days of the week and have seen many near misses with other vehicles.

It's summer and school is out. Someone is going to be injured. Drivers use it as a shortcut to beat traffic tie ups on Rt 32.

still happends, especially between 4pm-5pm weekdays. A guy with white hair and goatee in a little blue and black Smartcar runs 2 stop signs almost every day!

and few residents of John and Columbia St around the corners are some of the most constant scofflaws.

This problem still exists. Lately it's like a speedway at night.

Maybe if the Sheriffs Dept had taken over the town and village it might had been better.

If the Sheriff's Dept took over we would have less police presence and a longer response time.

What will it take to resolve this issue - death or injury? This has been brought to the attention of Village officials as well as the PD and nothing has been done.

Ludicrous - does your community not care?

Schools out is no one patrolling this area? Seems like it would be a cash cow for issuing tickets. What will it take?

Police state they don't have the staff to monitor this issue. What will it take? An unfortunate incident such as what happened in Cohoes when a youth was killed?
