Dear Mr. Shaw,
I am a resident of Chetwynd Road. Soon the developer of the new construction at 2 Chetwynd will rebuild the sidewalks at the corner of Chetwynd and Newell that were torn up during construction.
We currently have sloped sidewalks on Chetwynd, and would like to maintain that design. Our concern is for sufficient parking space on both sides on the road, which sidewalks with standard height curbstones would not permit when necessary, for instance during a snow storm.
Can the developer rebuild the existing sloped sidewalk? He is open to a solution that meets the needs of both the city and we home owners on Chetwynd.
