Description

The "sidewalk" / walkway at the NE corner of Mountain and Thornhill is in extremely poor condition. You can't see it in this picture, but it gets worse as you turn onto Thornhill. We have to navigate this each day with young kids walking to both Thornhill elementary and to KSS preschool across the street, and there are many other preschools on the block. It's almost impassible with a stroller, and certainly not safe. There's no good ramp access to the cross walk. Across the street where it's also bad, but not as much, I tripped once jogging and had a badly bruised forearm, possibly a microfracture, for a couple of months. I know that work has begun to insert a sidewalk across the street and up a few blocks from this location, but I want to make sure this corner is on the repair list.
