This issue has been ignored for 4 months. Previous request was transferred to a department that never addressed the issue and will not return numerous calls for an update. These trash bags were dumped here and need to be cleaned up. There is also a Christmas tree 5' down the hill.

After making many calls on my own, in october (i think) I was able to finally get someone on the phone. For months I was just leaving voicemails that were never acted on. I called every 2-3 weeks since this was first reported. I followed up with public works and they gave me mr. Griffen's contact info. It was a very frustrating experience to have this issue open for so long. But It has been taken care of. This was done back in October of 2013. There was no followup on what was in the containers, but they could have been hazardous. I would really hope that we would be notified if there was anything of concern in the containers.
I am stunned and completely upset as to how many times I had to call to get this addressed. This was an unknown open container of liquids that were murky and UN-identifiable. Should that not get an immediate hazmat response to check if it is toxic?
I am closing this issue now, but please review this process, it is totally ineffective to just turf this issue to a department that does not respond to these kinds of requests.
