These lights have been busted for over 2 years. How long does it take to order those lights? Last we were told at block watch meeting (at least a year ago - before Sandy hit) there was a disagreement between the City and the sound School as to who was responsible for replacing the lights...and that is why the lights have not been fixed. Which is it? Lights are on a 2 year back order? Or no one wants to accept the responsibility and cost to fix them? Because these lights are out...the pier is attracting drug dealers and illegal activity at night because it is so nice and dark...Karen thank you for posting this!

Touch the wires and see if they really de-energized them.....

Nearly 2 years ago I mentioned that these need to be replaced with vandal-proof fixtures. Otherwise the new fixtures will be destroyed shortly after installation. http://seeclickfix.com/issues/147893-vandalized-lights-city-point-pier
