Thanks for the report. Did you speak with anyone in particular from the town about this?

I personally have never spoken to anyone. This sidewalk is in the front of my 87 yr old mothers home. It has been years since she spoke to anyone as she gave up after years of them telling her they would get done and never have. She tells me that she spoke to a town engineer named Mike or Mark but she doesn't remember for sure. The town did the walks west of Parker street but never came back to to the section from Parker St. to Woodbridge St.

This is in front of my mothers house. This is a safety hazard for any pedestrians. I personally find that if anyone was to walk and a vehicle thought it was part of the road they would be hit. My mother is 87 years old and still trims her own bushes and she could definetly be struck by a vehicle. i vote also have this fixed.

If you both report the same issue you may get some fast action. If not, drop me a line. It's great, Chris, that your mother is so active at her age. I completely understand your concerns. Hopefully the town will respond promptly.

My family lives on Parker between East Center St. and Middle Turnpike East, and I can tell you that there is no sidewalk on either side of the street for several blocks. I frequently see children walking in the road, which is very busy at times as you undoubtedly know! I also worry for the safety of my two young children, since my husband has been nearly hit on a number of occasions while trying to shovel the snow. When we first moved in a little over 5 years ago, the town engineer mentioned to my husband that there were plans to install a sidewalk; however, this has failed to materialize!

yes they do i am a student at MHS and i would like to walk that way ut it is too dangerous
