答 We have a water meter in the ground at the curb. It is unsafe because it has cracked open and the lid falls off creating a sizable hole. We filed a request once before but they simply replaced the top piece (lid) this is the element that keeps falling down into the hole. Entire unit actually needs replacing. It is a moderate hazard, someone could break a leg. I hope the entire water meter plastic container can be dug out and placed back in the ground correctly.
