Beschreibung
an inordinately large group of people on the lawn who had set up corn hole. None had masks and they far from distant. I assume they are students coming in for the new year. It would be a shame if all the success in public health measures put in place are undone by groups like this.

I also saw it with my own two eyes! Took a pic too! Can’t upload here though. Was in the park drinking, when I spotted this group. definitely like 30 people yuckin it up in each other’s faces With about 10cm of distance. Maybe new kids on the block who tested negative during back to school orientation and feel they’re invincible now?
Yea, would be a shame if they resparked COVID. I’m with ya.

Thank you for reporting. We've shared this with the Cambridge Public Health Department as a possible location for Community Corps members to visit. Corps members have been trained to model COVID-19 safe practices and to offer a non-intrusive presence in parks where younger kids are present.
The role of the Corps is to educate and support the community and to offer polite guidance on good social distancing and hygiene practices. Corps members are also a resource for residents who are seeking further information about topics related to reducing community transmission rates and staying safe while using the parks. The priority for this effort is higher use locations, such as those that are close to schools, including water play.
Specific COVID-19 related complaints should be reported to the Cambridge Police Non-Emergency Line at 617-349-3300 at the time they are seen.
