Try calling them in the office (Engineering dept). They would only be able to tell you if something is scheduled for that roadway. Councilor Winslow is the chair of the public safety committee and he can provide you with information on how a job like that would get planned and funded.

I thought I left this ball in your court to reach out to your Councilor and inquire about funding and the process to schedule this type of work. Shoot me an email if I can help you out but the Police Traffic dept has no control over planning, funding, and/or scheduling of roadway markings . Did you ever reach out to engineering?
Personally, I’d call the office and speak with someone rather than fooling around with this reporting app.

I'd like to leave this open until it gets resolved if that's ok.
Wrote to Councilor Winslow who replied:
"I am follow[ing]-up to see if this can get scheduled into the City's annual re-striping program.. This probably has not been done in over 15 years since Commercial Street was fully re-built in ~2003 when I was working at the Malden Redevelopment Authority. "

No problem.

Still not resolved. Will write to Councilor Winslow again.
