Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner.   311, our community has been extremely patient for years regarding the serious issue with this street. You claim there is low funding but yet numerous streets above MacArthur are getting repaved continuously when those streets were NOT in need of any work. It’s very sad to see how communities below MacArthur still to this day can’t get anything we request. Temporary repairs have been done to Nicol in the past and as you can see those “temporary repairs” DO NOT LAST. It needs to be repaved period.
