Although I do not pursue the faith connoted by church bells I would defend their sounding out on a Sunday morning on the grounds that the sound is one of those few remaining that suggest community. A good remedy might be to go to bed a little earlier.

The bells, and I think they are actually real bells, which is nice, only ring for a short amount of time and it is closer to 9am for what it is worth. It’s a church. They have bells. On the possibly annoying bell scale, these are quite low.

I love listening to Church bells no matter what time....they are soothing and a symbol that all is okay...yesterday all across Paris at 11:30am ET ...bells rang across their city....

I wish I could hear them.
