Description
This sign indicates trucks exiting the Star Market loading dock should not turn left onto Davenport Street (towards Mass Ave).
However, Davenport Street is now one-way from Saginaw Avenue to Mass Ave. It seems this sign was originally installed to prevent trucks from encountering oncoming traffic. But this should no longer be an issue.
In fact, trucks which are delivering to Tags Hardware or Michaels must also turn onto Davenport Street and continue past this point to reach the loading dock. Then to depart, they must continue the rest of the way down Davenport Street (which is now one-way) and turn onto Mass Ave. Is there a reason trucks from Star Market cannot do this as well?
It would make more sense for this to be a "no right turn" sign, so that all trucks travel in the same direction all the way down Davenport Street.

The northernmost segment of Davenport Street still allows northbound travel for trucks exiting the loading dock or residents exiting Saginaw Ave. No change was proposed as part of the one-way conversion at this location.
Thank you.
