I wish I could say that things will change for the better. But they won't. Not with all this snow around. The traffic authority is not sending its car around to check on parking permits. For that matter, the snow plows aren't coming around either to plow away or cart away the mounds of snow. Nobody is doing anything on our streets -- Mansfield, Compton, Woodland, and Tilton. It is what it is, and we are stuck with what we have. We tried to play by the new rules, but the new rules screwed us. This is not a good start for a new mayor. We might as well park on the odd numbered sides of the street. No one will notice, except us. And our lives will be a little easier. Either that, or we can do what they're doing in Kiev and burn tires.
Thanks for the post. Officers were dispatched both last night and tonight and issued tickets to all vehicles found in violation. We will continue to monitor the area.
As a result of the help from the residents of zone 7 we have increased enforcement of the residential zone and have issued citations to all vehicles in violation every day this week. We will have a continued presence in residential parking zone 7 to ensure parking by non-residents does not continue to pose a problem going forward. An officer has been dispatched today to check up on the zone. I am closing this issue, and we encourage you to repost as the problem persists. Thank you for your help and cooperation in this matter.
