As always the city responds to the needs of it's citizens. This re-occurring issue which had taken on a widespread dynamic is no different. Our approach would be that it needed to be addressed both re-actively and proactively .
While in it's design the waste water system responds and services the neighborhood through normal gravitational flow, it was during our prior conversation and visits to your home we had demonstrated the transmittal main free flowing and working as designed, and an internal issue was causing you concerns. Thus lending you assistance to those who could service your waste line lateral entering your home. Our energies didn't stop there.
Our department began a process to address a waste water main being obstructed by users that stretch it's limitations by introducing materials and items that cause restrictions throughout. It is because of this, the city needed to aggressively concentrate in your area and monitor daily and service as needed. Our department was able to gain the assistance of an outside contractor with greater capacities to help address this abuse and regain volumes and flows when discovered. Our efforts day to day will continue to service the City's waste water mains and find means to lend assistance and resolutions as needed.
