The Amsterdam had loud music again last night, that continued until Midnight...on a Monday! Calling police doesn't do much.

After several complaints 146 18th Ave NE is still operating as an AirBnB. It is currently being rented and continues to be listed online, https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/9992754?s=Scj1-7aw.

How many complaints will it take to stop this?

The cross walk painted on 9th St N near 17th Ave N is used frequently by people going to/from Crescent Lake. However, the street marking and signage are so hard to see that many drivers speed past while people are waiting to cross. It is very dangerous for pedestrians, especially the many children in the surrounding neighborhoods. In this location - where drivers don't stop at the area designated as the safest place to cross - the cross walk only provides a false sense of security. Is it possible to repaint the cross walk, making it more obvious to drivers, and to place better signage on the side of the road? Ideally, the best option would be to install a median (similar to that on 4th St N near 20th Ave N) that made the pedestrian crossing more obvious. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I would like to invite you to witness the sheer number of cars that are excessively speeding on 9th Ave N, west of 66th st. It seems as if most of these drivers use it as a quick connector from Park St., without realizing that the speed limit actually tapers down to 25-30mph to quell speeders travelling through, as 9th ave transitions to residential.

This may be significantly problematic, because of the presence of the Pinellas Trail. I have seen a couple of dangerous occurrences happen right before my eyes. I saw two teen-aged males, who weren't prudent enough to walk thier bikes across the crosswalk, almost get clipped by a car. SPC is nearby and I see other students crossing here as well.

The cars that stop when the crosswalk strobe is activated also seem to be sitting ducks for possible accidents. Working from my home office, I have seen (and heard the screechng of) at least two occasions where an abiding car would stop so someone could cross the trail, only to be nearly rear-ended by the car behind them. The tire skid marks should still be there to serve as ample evidence of this.

There is signage forewarning drivers of the upcoming crosswalk, as well as posted speed limit signs. However, I think that this segment of 9th as well as 5th ave where the trail crosses, would highly benefit from digital radar-equipped speed limit signs to make it obvious for drivers to slow down, before someone gets seriously injured. It's just too easy for drivers to assume that this stretch of 9th is 40-45mph like the rest of the avenue crossing the city.

Between 4th & 6th St S, There is an alarming number of people (10 - 15 vehicles a day) going the wrong way on the one way 9th Ave S. This is a major safety issue as people coming around the corner simply cannot see the wrong way cars and I see near accidents all the time on this road. Just a matter of time before something tragic happens.

This continual flooding in even a light rainstorm is getting old! Today the water has turned our alley into a river and has made 30th Ave near Sunset grill- West passable only single file and sends a wake well into our front yard! Why is this STILL an issue?

Heres more of the 100 yr old side walk that the city failed to upgrade while they ran new sidewalks from 9th st to 16th st on both sides of 7th ave n.

Small pothole has opened up on the roadway in front of the home at 1801 Pinellas Point Drive South. It is bone-jarring to cyclist that inadvertently ride over it.

The section of 4th St., South has become increasingly more populated by homeless near the Salvation Army. The people are out on the sidewalks and grassy areas during the day and overnight. The area for many blocks is very littered now. Panhandling is on the rise as well. I was approached by three different people during one visit to Wendy's. It's starting to feel very unsafe. One of the main concerns is that people are crossing the street day and night in the middle of the block. There is no warning to car drivers that these people are going to start crossing in the middle of the block particularly at night. Many are crossing very slowly with carts Cains Walkers or in wheelchairs. This is very concerning and a safety issue. This is also happening a little further south of 22nd Ave. on fourth Street south between the grocery mart and the gas station. Very dangerous for pedestrians and drivers. I have already reported this to nonemergency police as well as the community center in that district. They all suggested that I go through this channel to be heard. In the city work with the salvation army to come up with an innovative response to the needs of these people. Perhaps they can be located with in the property of salvation army and or be paid a small amount to collect litter in the area. Just an idea thank you, kim

There is a "shantytown" that has cropped up on the green space next to Staybridge Suites and is being lived in. The presence of this mess is frightening residents in the area. It's a terrible eyesore. Please remove or dismantle if possible. If we can't park in our yards, how can this mess be allowed to exist. Tow them away.

The bike lanes on both sides of 4th St. S. and Pinellas Point Dr., south of 45 Ave. S. have numerous obstructions and narrow to the point of making them hazardous and dangerous for cyclists.

That section of road is very popular with cyclists. Every morning, for example, 30-50 cyclists use the road on a group ride. One of the most popular routes for recreational cyclists takes them along this road.

I request that the lane be upgraded to meet minimum standards of 4 feet wide at all places. Debris needs to be swept and growth in the bike lane trimmed back.

Photo attached documents one of the the problems. Others include debris; trees overgrown into the lane, widths as narrow as 32 inches; and standing water. I have sent Action Center those photos by email. I have a couple of dozen more to show that the same problems repeatedly along this route.

Without upgrades and maintenance, cyclists must weave in and out of the bike lane to avoid hazards. In such cases, it is prudent for cyclists to use the full travel lane. However, many cars exceed the 35 mph speed limit, making it dangerous for cyclists on the road. St. Pete Police might want to monitor this road for speeders.

I’ve included many photos to document the types of problems. I have others that will show that these problems are repeated along the route. These photos were taken after trash collection, meaning those bins in the lane were put there by the city trash collectors. That said, homeowners more often put their bins in the bike lane where we encounter them on morning rides.
