Description
Per the citizen, "as you are aware, the stretch of Central from High to Broadway has no stop sign, allowing dangerous traffic speeds. At the intersection of Central and Fountain, we are one block from 2 churches, 2 schools, Lincoln Park and a theater. It is a high traffic area, which I’m sure is the reason for the red zones. It is my opinion that a lighted crosswalk at Central and Fountain would be a better solution. These improvements would increase safety for families walking to school and help reduce the excessive speed on the street."
