The City of Oakland Public Works Agency has received this issue. It is registered as service request # 510310. Please check back for status updates or contact us directly at (510) 615-5566.
Public Works is not working.Try contacting your Area 4 problem solving officer Sgt L Ausmus 777-8589 lausmus@oaklandnet.com and 28x officer Timothy Delvega tdelvega@oaklandnet.com. Might what to double check this out??? Has to very very aggravating.
It's an endless parking enforcement issue. No Parking signs are needed and at least a couple of weeks of ticketing and then some intermittent enforcement to get the illegal parking to stop. The trouble is, they typically park after parking enforcement operating hours. It's discouraging that it seems to be the same offenders, over and over again. You probably already have, but perhaps contact:
I think it's beat 27X so the PSO is (or was) David Pullen @ dpullen@oaklandnet.com. I'm not sure he can help with parking enforcement, though. I'm not sure Sgt Lisa Ausmus is still the Area 4 Sgt in charge of Area 4 PSOs. I thought it was Wingate now, but I may be wrong.
Chase- I saw the Parking Enforcement woman this morning. She said she is coming out everyday but unable to catch them in the act. These offenders know the Parking Enforcement only works 8:30 to 4 so they move their cars to avoid tickets. She said she was only able to get the White Integra once in the last month. Any other solutions? I am still trying to get 'No Parking" signs and block their ways on the path but getting no traction with anyone on this solution.
Eileen - I have emailed Yvonne Cropp, Noel Gallo and David Pullen with no response to any emails.
Not even a basic reply? That's disappointing, to say the least. When I am stumped at to how to get something done, I usually consult my Neighborhood Services Coordinator. You probably already have, but if not:
The NCO for beat 27X is Araina Richards 238-7619 arichards@oaklandnet.com You might also call Noel Gallo's office instead of emailing. It's harder to ignore constituents over the phone.
Hi Chase, I cc'ed everyone about a week and half ago-not even one generic response. Can't say I was surprised just disappointed. I will have to find time to call but difficult to call from work.

I saw this too late - parking enforcement just emailed me to say the car was no longer parked there. The email addresses to send your concerns (faster than see click fix) are: ycropp@oaklandnet.com, rnguyen@oaklandnet.com, ypowe@oaklandnet.com and CC ngallo@oaklandnet.com.
I emailed this morning and received a response right away - a tech was there within 20 min.

You know, maybe we should just start throwing bricks at their cars (just kidding.)
I believe Mr. Nguyen and Ms. Powe are the direct people who are responsible - Nguyen responded pretty fast as did Powe.
Hope this helps...
