Description
Internet in the city of Cambridge is monopolized by Xfinity (previously known as Comcast) which is literally the worst Internet Service Provider in the United States of America. In the middle of a pandemic, they are implementing data caps and charging exorbitant prices on a service we all need. Get it together and save this city.

I resent the Comcast monopoly and wish there was some competition that provided better choices. I am also a current Comcast customer - triple play: internet, TV, and phone (landline). In the 2½ years since I signed on with Comcast the only real issue I had was a failed xFi gateway which they replaced immediately with a better one. So I can't complain about their service or responsiveness.
My chief complaint is with the way Comcast/xFinity has moved the things I want to see on TV into special packages just so they could extract more money, e.g. when they moved Turner Classic Movies into some kind of sports package and asked for an additional $10/month. Honestly, the United States Congress is complicit in this in that they took away any requirements that a la carte service be offered and restricted municipalities from negotiating anything other than PEG (public access, educational, and government programming). It is this collusion between companies like Comcast and the U.S. government that I find most infuriating,
I would also prefer to pay less. I'm also eternally amazed at what little selection there is on Cable TV - except for the wealth of garbage that fills their lineup at almost every hour of every day.
