Nothing has been fixed or updated since this report. Many children still playing here daily and still a broken fence, dilapidated and broken equipment, benches coming out of the ground, etc. Our children deserve better.

Just a heads up, the status of this reported issue is still only "Open". Usually, the status is changed from "Open" to "Acknowledged" within a few days from the date it was reported.

This issue was reported 8 months ago. That means none of our town's officials have seen this issue, or it means one of our town's officials has seen it but decided not to acknowledge it. You might want to start making phone calls or sending emails.

Just so those interested in this issue are aware…I did see that the fence was recently repaired, but nothing else at the playground, so I sent a direct email to the mayor and got this response which seems promising…I plan to continue to follow up…

We are reviewing our capital budget and our use of American Recovery Act funds with the Legislative Council now. We will put together funding for Denicola Park and a couple other parks so we can make some improvements. Thank you for making this request.
