Description
There has been construction equipment stored on Gore street and the surrounding streets for months. Some of the equipment, in particular the pieces in front of the Gold Star park, have not been touched since the summer. This neighborhood already has extremely limited parking, why is the city allowing this company to use public space meant for residents for free storage?

Gore Street continues to be an active construction site. The City's contractor for the Gore Street Reconstruction Project does require some necessary equipment storage. The contractor will tighten up the site as much as possible for winter now that binder paving is completed. Some spot work will continue this winter.
The equipment on some surrounding streets belongs to Eversource Gas as they finish up necessary work.

We have confirmed with the City's contractor for the Gore Street Reconstruction Project that their equipment and materials will be removed by the end of the month.
As you stated this does not apply to Feeney Brothers working in the area as they are a subcontractor for Eversource Gas performing necessary gas upgrades.
