The congestion continues almost every day and the drivers stand on their horns, disturbing our peace with impunity, almost every day, and for extended periods of time. It is now January 2012 and the issue is still open. It is bad.

Not fixed. February 2012, the drivers are bent on making their important light for one block lock step, and they honk out all their irritation.

sept 2012. what the picture shows: cars blocking Broadway, covering the intersection. This blocking of the box,happens across all the north/south bound streets as the WEST bound traffic simply takes over the street, inching themselves towards the tunnel. So they complain, they HONK. they honk incessantly, and the noise reverberates for a 5 block radius. It is awful, and NOT FAIR that no one tries to stop this noise pollution.
