This is what a normal day looks like from 3-6pm... This is NW bound Hampshire St traffic passing through this intersection.. As you can clearly see the traffic is backed up all the way to Prospect st from Cambridge st. This is because the traffic light only stays green for 10 seconds for the NW Bound Hampshire St traffic... I've complained about this before 6 months ago and was told it was resolved but clearly it has not. My suggestion would be to increase the NW bound hampshire st green light from 10 seconds to 20 (It seems like the traffic issues started ever since they reconfigured this intersection)

Also the area for cars is so narrow now, its hard for Ambulances to get by the cars. City is more concerned with bikes than lives!

During an emergency, cars may pull into a bike lane. That opens up a travel lane for ambulances. Your concerns are misplaced.

The city continue to entitle cyclists - I have to get and keep a current driver's license, register (ID) and insure my car, pay excise and gas taxes, get my vehicle inspected, wear my seatbelts, have a hands free phone...

Mayor Ted...Inman sq has 45% less parking. Where do u expect them to park?
Bikes should have licenses and pay for road use.
Bikes do not follow the rules and stop at Red Lights when pedestrians have walk signs. Also, ive seen motorcycles go into the bike lanes to avoid red lights and they take a right on red using bike lanes. Not to mention electric bikes, scooters, skate boards, electric skate boards ect.

Those "flex posts" are not especially flexible and they can do serious damage to some of the components under many motor vehicles. Craig Kelley also did a rather nice demonstration showing that you can use those posts to drive a nail into a block of wood.

If a street is too narrow for a bike lane, imagine how bad it would be with cars parked there instead. Think about it.

Parked cars would be better because they're not going through red lights and crosswalks with the pedestrians in them. It's appropriate that the Bicycle Safety Group has a poster that shows happy bikers driving through a crosswalk with pedestrians walking in it. Surprising accuracy.

Mr. Mayor you are totally wrong! I know fire fighters and they have complained to the city about getting thru traffic on Cambridge st. And I am a witness to it! So dont talk about something you know nothing about. It has become an obstacle course in Cambridge. Inman sq is definitely a obstacle course!
EBR of course bicycle saftey poster shows that, u think they would show a pedestrian getting hit?

Pat, I'm on Cambridge st almost daily and have never witnessed any emergency vehicles block in traffic. I need to see a City or press report on this. Because I've read your prior posts, you have no credibility with me.
