Description
All 3 catch basins near my home were clogged with debris and failed to drain. Three of us from the neighborhood worked to unclog them- standing in water up to my knees. If we had not been home- our house would have flooded as it did on August 8th. We keep these basins clear- checking them every day. Once the rain hits, they simply fill to the brim with tree limbs and leaves and are incapable of draining.

Dint they explain their short term plans to address vs long term plans? Insurance companies will not reimburse for flooding caused by town negligence of infrastructure of antiquated systems not updated since 1950’s?
Or when was last update after all the housing builds in the town? Contact the Town manager for advice.
