Drivers traveling NE on Mt. Vernon Road wishing to turn left onto Dunwoody Club Drive are using the lane intended for oncoming traffic as a left turn lane, even though this traffic is restricted to a single lane and there is a double yellow line in the middle of the road. It is a matter of time before there is a serious head-on collision here. PPT file attached shows details. I have encounter this issue 4 times in the past 2 weeks. One possible solution might be to repaint the double yellow center lines, as areas are quite faded.
