There is an armada of recycling containers blocking the sidewalk at 827-825 West Morgan Street for four days now. Would the City of Raleigh please share with all of us when these are allowed to be out on the street side and where exactly they should be placed. They are currently in the middle of the sidewalk (for 4 days now). Is it legal? This business had a history of illegal trash collection and sidewalk blocking problems in the past, since they took over the laundry/dry cleaner, it seems they are taking over their illegal ways incognito. Thanks for letting us know if this is legal and exactly when and where they can put out their armada of trash/recycling receptacles.

I think those trash cans actually belong to Cameron Court Apartments.

They are NEVER allowed to be in the pedestrian right of way. They must be parked on the street along the curb.

It's a week later and these bins are still right smack down in the middle of the sidewalk. They were emptied on Monday but Trophy Brewing has left them on the sidewalk.

On Friday afternoon at 4:30p.m. they were rolling out overflowing trash cans and leaving in the middle of the sidewalk. Not only does it look bad that they leave these out, but is it legal for them to block the sidewalk like they are doing?

City of Raleigh, what was the response of Solid Waste Services? You just closed this issue without any answer, and the issue of these containers being left on the sidewalk all the time has not been addressed. I went jogging this morning (8/29/15) and they are still in the pedestrian right of way.

Sunday morning at 7:20a.m. this area of West Morgan Street has litter on it - mainly vegetables and produce boxes that came out of their overflowing recycling containers.

Noon on Monday 8/31/15. Containers still blocking the sidewalk. None of the neighboring businesses have their containers out. When are these allowed out and are they allowed to be on the sidewalk?

It's noon on Monday at noon and the sidewalk has 7 containers on it. Why is this one business allowed to park their trash and recycling containers on the street? None of the other neighboring businesses have their containers on the sidewalk? Could the City of Raleigh please tell us when the pick up is for Trophy Brewing and when they are allowed to have those containers out, and if they are allowed to be parked on the sidewalk?

Solid Waste Services code enforcement officials have spoken with the management at Trophy Brewing about the time frame for having the carts out front for collection as well as the issue of the carts blocking the sidewalk. The business recently began using the City's curbside collection service for garbage and recycling. There were some misunderstandings and we believe those have been addressed.
