Yes it's been there for awhile: not large in diameter, but deep and dangerous.

Is anyone out there really listening? There have been many reports like this, and I've reported it to DOT -- as was suggested previously -- but nothing ever gets done. It really is shameful.

Given that it is on a downhill slope in a very poorly lit section of road, this is very dangerous for people riding bicycles and should not be allowed to stay for one night without a bright traffic cone alerting people to not die there.
