I agree with Kathy.

The amount of traffic doesn't warrant a traffic light, but a 4-way stop could work. Cars still run stop signs or do rolling stops, but it would make a big difference. If you really want to make it safer for pedestrians, you need to have a neckdown that brings the sidewalk out into the street so cars and pedestrians can see each other more clearly (and it forces cars to slow down a little), but that involves more infrastructural investment and costs more. But with the amount of traffic on Central, they should have those at every intersection to make the area more pedestrian friendly.

Same problem on Alden and Willard - that badly needs a stop sign too.

I'm terrified everytime I have to go through that intersection, can't see on coming traffic at all. Then again, can't see oncoming traffic pulling out if my driveway either since such large commercial vehicles are always parked on either side of my driveway.

Would be nice to see some sort of response from the city on this issue!
