K T the city couldn't care less. They've literally let people get away with attempted murder, robbery, etc. They literally do this all the time. Im not even kidding or slightly exaggerating. someone attempted to murder me with their vehicle today. I reported it. The dispatcher even gave me attitude. They let the guy get away. Ive been reporting crimes on this island all year and I have yet to see a single criminal arrested. They literally couldn't care less about us. They only care about their easy big paychecks subsidized by our tax dollars

We cannot allow this to happen in Alameda! ...The entrance to the Alameda tube from Oakland looks worse than a third-world country! Should not be allowed!!! Shame on us - clean it up!!! We pay too much in taxes to allow this to fester!

unfortunately as I already mentioned neither APD nor the city government cares about us at all whatsoever. They will never do a thing to fix any of the problems on this island. all they care about is getting free money via our tax dollars

Our City Attorney has directed APD not to enforce certain ordinances against the homeless. We need to escalate this issue to the City Attorney, City Council (who appointed the City Attorney) and the Mayor's office.
