Description
The back yard at this property has not been mowed yet this year and is extremely overgrown. The shrubs/bushes on the sides of the yard are overgrowing into the side and back neighbors yard. Not only is it a blight it also a health issue with stray cats and bugs.
Various Neighbors have been mowing the front lawn to keep if neat.
The homeowners are believed to have abandoned the house and moved to Hamden and are pursuing bankruptcy. One is a retired New Haven Fire Fighter and the other is a New Haven school teacher and their son is New Haven Police Officer. Pretty upsetting that as tax payers we pay for their livelihoods and this how they treat the city.
Thank you in advance for your help on this matter.

Dear LCI,
Just following up on this issue reported on 6/22. There has been no action taken and as you can imagine the situation has worsened.
I have also noticed that the wood basement door has now collapsed in. This will allow for animals and weather to cause damage to the house.
Our historical district needs your support on this matter. Thanks!

Please investigate the property at 190 Greenwich Ave. Large lot is littered with unregistered trucks filled with trash and scrap metal. Trash all over property resembling a junk yard!
