Description
To Whom it May Concern,
The intersection of Kendrick St. and 4th Ave is in desperate need of a traffic light. Cars turning left from 4th Ave routinely wait several minutes, and even then take the turn at great peril. The same is true for other drivers at that intersection. Traffic backs up significantly at rush hour. And as the N-Squared innovation district continues to grow, this problem will grow with it. Please let me know the best course of action to make this happen. It will make Needham safer. Thank you.

Good Morning, A formal request would need to be made for a new traffic signal and signage through the Traffic Management Advisory Committee (TMAC). The TMAC meets the second Wednesday of every month to discuss and make recommendations regarding traffic related issues in order to make sure that action items are compliant with traffic safety rules. If you are interested in submitting your issue , please leave your contact information or call me with your contact information at #781-455-7550 X 344.
This request will then be forwarded to the Town Manager's Office so it can be added to the TMAC Agenda. Once your request has been added to the agenda, you will be contacted regarding the meeting time and place when the TMAC will discuss and make recommendations to your concern. If you have future requests, request forms to discuss traffic safety issues may also be sent directly to the Traffic Management Advisory Committee (TMAC); the forms are available on the town's website at www.needhamma.gov . Thank you for your interest in Needham's Public Works programs.
