107TH AVE ANY MYERS ST IS BEING USED AS A USED CAR LOT.. THESE VEHICLES DO NOT HAVE PLATES/CURRENT TAGS AND ARE OFTEN DAMAGED. THESE VEHICLES ARE TAKING UP MUCH NEEDED PARKING SPACES AWAY FROM US HOMEOWNERS. THERE ARE INDIVIDUALS WORKING ON THESES CARS AND SELLING THEM THROUGHOUT THE DAY. DISCARDED AUTO PARTS ARE STREWN ON THE THE STREETS

Fallas Store is supporting this bad behavior and action now for 1.5 years. I have called their Corporate office every since they opened with numerous complaints; selling cars, drugs being among the fire, overflow of trash, trashy parking lot, the memorial that's been out there on Myers for 4 years, graffiti and illegal dumping on the backside on 108th.
We are trying to improve our neighborhood with Foothill Sq and other improvements. Fallas put that cheap fence up probably as a deterrent for the car issue. Maybe they need to go all together.

The report of auto parts on the street will be reported to KOCB for removal. Please report the issue of vehicles parked on city street and being sold to, Oakland Police Department, Non-emergency Line, at (510) 777-3333; make sure to provide them with the vehicle make, model, color and license.

I know Ariana and have attended the NCPC here. Neighbors have been complaining about this store, the block, and the Smoke Shop on 108th and McArthur, for years. Council President Larry Reid and Ray Leon know and even Iris knows (whose focus area is further near Sobrante Park).
Even though Foothill Sq is a good thing, the illegal dumping problem has increased on Foothill behind the Square and Fallas is just a bad neighbor. They are ghetto acting. They won't even sweep their parking lot nor the gutters surround it. People who do illegal activity are encouraged to do wrong when they see a business that doesn't care.
FoodsCo managers have attended our D7 group meetings and listened to our suggestions for improvements and have complied. They are trying to be a good neighbor. But Fallas and the Smoke Shop need a citation. The City can only do so much, but us residents have stepped up, but have little influence on Fallas, the Barber shop or Smoke Shop. Thx for the recommendations.
