Description

Many people walk up Templeton Parkway from the 7-11 / 71 Bus stop every day. They are naturally on the West side (the 7-11 side) of the street.
Now, where we used to cross Maplewood, there is a 3 ft expanse of grass.
This forces pedestrians to walk sideways into Templeton Pkwy, which despite being the merge point of Templeton and Salisbury Rd., was narrowed to the extreme.
And, since pedestrians have to walk sideways first, anyone driving East on Maplewood, turning rt toward the 7-11, has a much less chance of seeing the pedestrian, who is not walking towards the other side of Templeton and so appears to be on the sidewalk.
