At least as of yesterday, clearance time is not the issue. The lack of a second traffic light to cross the other set of lanes of Bangerter is what's making this such a dangerous spot. I got caught up in between myself, last time it was because the car in front of me tried to turn left (it was the first day that left turns were prohibited). There was NO "do not turn left" sign to remind people, and there was certainly no traffic light that told me whether it was safe to proceed, once the car in front of me finally got to do their left turn (Bangerter had since switched to green). The stretch between north and south bound Bangerter is so long, it's similar to Mountain View Corridor intersections, all of which have TWO traffic lights for east/west bound traffic. This is no different. It's a safety hazard even with more clearance times.

This issue has not been fixed. I was in an accident with injuries 2/1/17 for this exact reason. I was going south on bangerter and hit the side of a person who was going west on 114th who had not cleared the intersection.
