Thanks for your patience with leaf bag collections. We have been running behind and will be adding additional trucks to catch up as we can.

Can you please advise on what to do in the meantime? Should we leave the bags on the sidewalk until you are able to complete the pickup?

If you can, please leave bags out at curb and we will pick up as soon as we can.

Since New Haven saw fit to send TWENTY-ONE EMPLOYEES to China and environs for a junket, which must have cost well over $100,000, maybe even $200,000, perhaps the city could provide free bulk pickups and other removal of junk for TAXPAYING HOMEOWNERS. Renters can continue to pay the fees to Public Works for pickups. City taxpayers deserve to get SOMETHING in return for their tax dollars ... and now the city govt is plotting to add even more taxes. WHY OH WHY did TWENTY-ONE people have to go to China? I am OUTRAGED! And sadly, thinking about selling and leaving this city.

How can this issue be clsoed when there are soaking wet leaf bags all along Lyon Street!!!!! Wake up Public works...

We closed a batch that had been picked up that included April's leaf bags.
We will run lists for May and try catching up with those by adding extra truck. If indeed we missed the Lyon Street ones from April, we will be back. Thanks for reopening.
