Descrição
drug activity/prostitution in alley (Qincy), behind home and sqatters living in garage. Packages/mail being stolen, property in yard being stolen. Garbage being thrown into street and neighbors yards homes. Cars and people driving into alley at all hours (all night light). Fighting, 2 shootings I'm aware of. A neighbor of mine took a photo last week of one of them pooping in my yard. Another neighbors found clothes in his washer on porch that do not belong to his family. Another neighbor found used needles in her yard. We are all feeling unsafe and afraid our homes will be broken into when we leave. It's sad, it's always been a changing neighborhood but until now we felt safe. No body seems to be doing anything!!!

Code Enforcement says it can't do anything because it has to wait for Due Process to first happen.
These squatters have more rights than property tax payers is what the city has told me.

Garbage everywhere and the smell is awful and fighting can be heard day and night.
Cars are being lived in and blocking the alley access.
Prostitution is seen visible by children in the neighborhood and needles also are being found.

Thank you for reporting! The Police Department's Community Service Section (CSS) has opened a case for this issue. CSS has one part-time and three full-time employees who are responsible for addressing all quality of life concerns, supporting Neighborhood Watch groups, and working with the Neighborhood Law Program and Code Enforcement to address distressed and dangerous properties. We work hard to investigate each report in a timely manner, and will investigate this report as soon as we possibly can. Please keep in mind there is a lengthy process to remove illegal encampments. If you have any questions, please call our office at (707) 553-7218.
If you witness any suspicious or criminal activity that requires an immediate response, please call 9-1-1.

Human trafficking at all times of the day and night.
Smells of human feces and uranating up and down the alley and surrounding areas.
Personal property is now being stolen in broad daylight.
Someone please help.

What more can you ask from our police department?

"SVHWatch (Registered User) Thanks for fixing this request! "
From where I stand on St Vincent's Hill, I don't see too much fixing, And anyone who was really watching our neighborhood would know that!

"Face to face meeting is the first step to solve any problem."
Exactly how do you get face to face with someone who's taking a dump in your backyard? You gonna invite them down to the HUB for something herbal?

Clarification:
Not talking about inviting offenders.
Several residents are impacted by this. Is there a meeting among all neighbors to meet and talk about what to do? Social media (e.g. Nextdoor..) can raise awareness but people need to meet to work together.
Often no one is calling a meeting, or people are interest to meet but can not find a place to meet. My comment is "There is a meeting scheduled every month at a location which is already secured (you don't need to reserve or pay)" you can take advantage of that.
