  more that 100 people in my neighborhood are bothered enough to take the time to call or write in a complaint, I think that more than qualifies as a nuisance. Do us all a big favor and ask your brothers to drum at your house if you like them so much. We have just as much right to peace an quiet!
  Public parks are for the quiet enjoyment of park visitors not private party, drum practice venues

  The incessant drumming is super irritating to me as well. I live 2 blocks away the noise is awful even inside my house, from that distance. There is no peace to be had. The freeway noise is nothing compared this this! I can't imagine what it's like for the people who live closer. I don't know what the decibels level are, but it is inappropriate to have this happen every weekend when most of us are hoping for some quiet time to recover from the work week.

  Just added my upvote for this issue. A lot of the people who are doing this drumming aren't even from our city and are acting like we're some kind of intruders who are trying to "displace" them. The reality is that a lot of us have lived out here far longer than they have and the lake was never as loud as it is now before. These drummers are mostly transplants who are invading Oakland and trying to flip the script and turn the tables to make it look like we're the invaders. They need to get out of here and stop messing up Oakland. Take your drum circle somewhere else. Original Oaklanders are rising up against you

  Fritz Hoch unfortunately, the city is currently run by lib.eral demo.crats and "enforcing rules and laws" is something their party is not capable of doing. The only way to make that happen is to vote them out and re-instate the government Oakland had prior to the 1960s when it was taken over by the Demo.crats and started it rapid decline into violent crime, i.l.l.e.g.al dumping, corruption and an assortment of other human depravity
