I have contacted police, city officials, the Mayor and alder many, many times. Why isn’t anything done? There are two schools here. Drivers have to slow down and obey the law.

Keep calling them, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Really annoying! So many drivers run the stop on Highland and Whitney. Not safe for pedestrians to cross

I was happy to see a speed stop on the corner of Whitney and East Rock a couple of weeks ago. I attended the neighborhood mtg last Monday and learned the stops will be more regular. However, like JM commenting on a similar issue at 805 Whitney I wonder what effect it will have. It would be good if they could post them in the morning as well. The traffic coming into the city is out of control. A more permanent solution is needed though. I really wish something could be done about people running stops on the side streets especially Highland and Whitney it is too dangerous. I see the same cars cutting off traffic just a matter of time before an collision or worse the striking of a pedestrian

Bad accident at Whitney and Cold Spring today. Drivers go too fast and won’t stop at the sign. Too dangerous!

Speeding is worse than ever. This morning a small red car going way too fast up Whitney in bad weather. Why don’t people get they are endangering others?!
