Opis
This is a dangerous trail crossing that is unmarked. Friends of East Rock Park is working with the City of New Haven to get crosswalk striping and unobtrusive signs for vehicle traffic in place to increase safety. These improvements should be in place later this summer.

Thanks to lobbying by the Friends of East Rock Park and work by the Transportation, Traffic and Parking Dept, new crosswalks have been installed! Signs will be installed shortly at these locations as well to ensure vehicles are aware there are pedestrians crossing.

Signs were installed at the crosswalk to give warning to oncoming drivers. Thanks to the Parks Department and Traffic and Parking for their help with this!
