  This pile of stuff has been here for over a year and now almost completely blocks the sidewalk, has been reported many times but the city does nothing.

  Theresa well of course, Oakland is run by Demo.crats, remember? Other Demo.crat-run cities include but are not limited to: Detroit, St. Louis, and Chicago. There's a common pattern there, and it usually involves rotting piles of garbage, violent crime, and neglect.

  As of this morning (9/9/2018) the sidewalk was fully blocked by the junk pile. Yes, we have a housing shortage, but letting people camp on neighborhood streets is not a workable answer. This campsite has been here over a year, and is growing. What is the city's plan?

  This is not a housing issue this is hoarding issue. They as been photographed with there van and trailer adding to this ever growing illegally dumped pile. The street people camped in the park have been offer help numerous times. The problem is to get help they have to follows rules like the rest of us and that is something they refuse to do. This double standard of letting some people have carte blanche to do almost anything want with no consequences is not going to turn out well. I am beyond P Oed watching my taxes thrown down a black rat hole hoping these street people will get help.

  As a senior I have the right to walk down the sidewalk and not worry about tripping over someone else’s possessions.
