Trying to get other people in the building to upvote and share this, too. It's getting slippery. It's going to start freezing. Someone is going to get hurt. And, it has to be a huge waste of water.

back on 9/17/2018 (only 73 days ago), i suggested that the leaking water would freeze. it's only a matter of time before there is an accident.

Very concerned about winter around the corner and coming in off of B&A. My coworkers have had issues coming into the drive. We need to have this fixed before someone gets hurt.

Several cars have slid on the ice entering the parking lot. Exiting can be even more dangerous because of oncoming traffic. Please address before someone, including me, gets hurt.

My car slid on the wet pavement even just this morning. With there not being a viable shoulder save for immediately prior and the turn into Ritchie court being immediately after the crest of a hill, slowing down significantly in order to make the turn causes some potential for danger yet anything above 15 mph prior to the turn seems to becoming increasingly dangerous as well.

We had a crew visit this site today. The patch was intact and no safety concerns were noted. Water leaking from around the patch was sampled and came back as ground water not county water. This is a state maintain road . They would have to be contacted with any drainage concerns.

So is there a different thread for this to be submitted and fall on deaf ears, or another user/department need to be added to this one? Or is this just filed under "not my job" and we wait for accidents and injuries to occur before any action is taken?

I'm not sure how this is just ground water. We've been here for years and never had this problem.

B&A is a state road. We have tested the water at this location at our lab and it was determined it to be ground water. With this being a state road there is a possibility that they may have some kind of drain running under the road that may be causing this issue. They would have to be contacted to investigate this problem as we do not maintain state owned drains.

So does this need to be recategorized to Road Maintenance, or does a new ticket need to be submitted?
I see this issue was recategorized from Road Maintenance to Water/Wastewater Concern by an official (roughly a month after it was submitted), so can't this just be recategorized?
If we submit a new ticket, will it restart the timer and take another month before being acknowledged, and another month+ before someone is on site?

I understand it's not in your department, but it feels we're getting the runaround, and we didn't originally submit this to Water/Wastewater.

To clarify, I'm just trying to get this resolved before accidents/injuries. Not just complain. Please advise the best, efficient path to resolution.

Unfortunately this site only allows me to reassign to another county department and not a state department. They would have to be contacted directly through their online customer service center which could be found on their website or through the customer care center at 410-582-5650.

We haven't noticed anybody come out to inspect or address the issue. Super bad today. We submitted 2 tickets on the SHA website on 12/11/2018:

This issue had been passed on to the State per Water Superintendent. A site visit was made with county and state personal and was confirmed to be a state issue.
