I reported this homeless camp back on 9/25/2018 and the garbage that lined broadway from lewis brown all the way to mini drive. The garbage has just been cleaned up after many months of reporting the homeless camp moved ouy of the eucalyptus trees so the people cleaning could clean up their filth only to move back in and start the garbage filth living over again! The trash is already starting to show up and its only been 2 days since they finished cleaning up broadway! This is getting old having to report these situations only to have the city ignore them for months as they compound into more camps garbage filth and everything that goes with these homeless bums. The system is broken and you,COV, have know answer, and it shows as this city is being overrun with these hoards of bums! Breaking at least 5 laws and the city does absolutely NOTHING!!!!!!!

This reporting is showing the picture i took back on 9/25/2018. The next picture i took was on 10/24/2018. The city has not one bit of control of the FILTH, GARBAGE, HOMELESSNESS that has overcome Vallejo!

We need to hold these homeless vagrants accountable for their actions. If your homeless, you get away with anything, but if your a hard working tax paying citizen, you are always held accountable for any law or city code.

Jw: the majority are HOBO vagrants, hardly homeless. There are a few mentally ill people that fall through the social service cracks but the "advocates" insure that they are able to determine they want to live like this as it's their "right" to. unless they become horribly inept. Has anyone ever examined just how "advocates" make their money? Homeless advocates, for example. Just saying.....

Make a case why they resolve the issue! What a joke!!! Go out, throw these people out or off the property they are trespassing and or arrest them for , illegal camping, loitering, trespassing, littering! Its that simple!!!!!!!!!!! I dont need your BS excuses that we are looking into it, investigating it, the pictures tell the STORY!

Like i have said in the past, if the people running this town actually lived here i would expect the town would be clean. Since 99% dont live here and have to traverse through the homeless blight with all their garbage, filth and unsanitary ways as we do, they could care LESS!!!!!!!! They go home to their gated communities and laugh at what Vallejo has become, while collecting their paycheck payed for by OUR tax dollars!

I know the frustration all of you have with this trash. We too are frustrated. I am organizing a collaboration with Public Works to address these issues on a regular basis along with resources for the homeless to try and find some kind of resolution. We have been doing outreaches every three months but I am trying to bump it up to every two weeks in hopes to curb this crisis the best we can.

Christina, i know you are overwhelmed with the current situation at hand with the homeless. I dont understand why these people are given such preferential treatment? They are ALL breaking the law, why isnt the law being enforced? People who own vacant property are given way to much time and leeway when it comes to cleaning their property. One week after being notified of trespassers and homeless camps and a fine should be automatically assessed! Not 3 to 9 months later after the issue is first addressed! I can personally say i have sent click fix on some sights months ago that have still not been cleaned up, and some of these property's are the city of Vallejos!!!!!!!!! The railroad tracks from broadway all the way to Mare Island!!!!!!! Pictures and all!

We need to get tough, we need Sit/Lie in Vallejo.
A Sit/Lie ordinance would be a vital tool to help authorities combat illegal camping, loitering and vagrancy.
