Thank you for the post. We too hope for greater compliance from our residents. Unfortunately, due to limited enforcement personnel, vehicles, tow trucks, and storage facilities, it is never our intention to tow all vehicles in violation as this would be an impossible goal. We instead focus on emergency snow routes and areas we know DPW plows will clear or are currently unable to clear due to obstructing vehicles. Much like with speeding tickets on the highway, our enforcement efforts are not meant to catch all violators, but to encourage compliance. Ideally, all residents would comply naturally to improve the quality of life for themselves and their neighbors. We are closing this issue as the parking ban is no longer in effect. Please encourage everyone you know to sign up for the emergency alert notifications and create SeeClickFix profiles which will also result in email updates during inclement weather.
