Description
The CVS at 3320 Fruitvale has a marked emergency exit which is always kept closed.
The door is on the left side of pharmacy when facing front of building from outside.
The sliding door has a sign which says "This door to remain open during occupancy". Sign barely visible at bottom of door.
When I talked to CVS employees, they said that manager requires that door be closed to reduce theft.
Please inspect store and determine whether door should be open when occupied. If not, sign should be removed from door.

Their explanation was that the evening sun makes it difficult to see, and when there is a fire, people to leave through another door
