  Sounds like we need to start voting out council members who aren’t adequately dealing with this issue. Safe and clean streets that haven’t been taken over like this, that’s not a big ask

  The City Council members don't live in our communities. Our representatives know what's happening, have seen pictures of the mess but at the end of the day go home to a RV free community. Would this be acceptable for their family? Would they feel their children are safe walking to school? Would they feel their loved ones are safe going to the EOSC, the library or the senior center? They don't care because they can afford to turn a blind eye. They don't have to look at it when they open their front door.

  Exactly! Vote them out. Plus Libby Schaff is only aspiring to further her political career. Every time I see her on the news spouting unicorns - I cringe.

  It seems that San Leandro is much nicer to live in than Oakland (what proportion of Oakland schoolchildren get Advanced Placement?), so presumably Oakland residents are voting less carefully.
