Wait - if the car is parked on private property and not being driven, does it need to have a license plate? If you see it being driven around that way, call the police.
yes, seconded, @ravenclaw i don’t think it’s a problem if parked out of service on private property. it’s not on the street so not in violation, i don’t think.
Elm City Mama, if that's actually a front yard, I stand corrected, but the photo makes that look like it's a small driveway/parking spot. If it's a parking spot, then adding a plate will suddenly make this car not an eye sore? This is just silly and a waste of everyone's time.
And yes, I'm very snarky for the busybodies who use this service for frivolous things--I just saw someone report their neighbors for parking a U-Haul illegally *While they were loading it*.
