Do those other signs have official permits or are these types of signs allowed without a permit? Also, why is the rectangular banner sign permitted? I thought that vinyl banner signs aren’t permitted under the UDO. There are multiple small signs still on the property in this location and on S Franklin.

Just to get clarification, what are the rules regarding multiple signs on a single property? Based on the planning department response above, is it true that an unlimited number of signs are allowed during construction without permit as long as small ones are removed because I see that all over town at new construction communities?

The signage that is not allowed has been removed. Going forward starting Oct 1, the other signage is allowed following permitting. To subdivisions and developments having signage before or after date it will be allowed as long as it meets new sign regulations.
