Description
The "yield" on the eastbound-to-southbound ramp from 600 N to I-15 S is dangerous, and people tend to ignore that yield. The best solution (and probably not very expensive) would be to eliminate the yield and simply make the eastbound-to-southbound lane about a hundred yards longer with a merge instead of a yield. UDOT already does this sort of thing, for example, at the southbound 700E to westbound I-80 ramp just east of Sugar House.

Hello! Thank you for your comment. At this immediate time, we will not be changing anything as there are two flashing yield signs and a merge sign at this ramp.
Currently in design is a project that will include the redesign and extension of this ramp. We ask for your patience as this is part of a larger project, and roadway design and construction can take time and effort. The project is currently scheduled to be completed in 2021.
Thank you again for your comment and concern. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.
