Description
This area of 215 where it gets busier loses a lane so there’s only three lanes up until 2200 N. Where We gain a lane and the slowdowns usually disappear and between these two points there is stop and go traffic for 5 miles every single workday. Here we lose a lane, have two major on ramps from i80, and an offramp at 700n within a half a mile of each other. Very poor planning let’s get another lane. Half of that distance you already have enough space for Lane.

Thank you for your comment.
I drive this route to and from work and it does get busy during rush hour.
We are always looking for ways to mitigate congestion and choke points. This one is on our radar as well as other roads that have choke points throughout the state.
We have done a concept report for a potential extra general purpose lane for this section. The next step would be to get funding for this project. For the most part, we try and select projects where we can see the best results for the best price.
I like you am hoping this one gets selected sooner rather than later since it is my route to and from work.
Thank you again for your comment!
