Beschreibung
This lot was clear cut, leveled out, retaining wall built on the west side, large limerocks on the south side, and limerock edging right up against the creek. A small building was built on the property. Never have we seen any construction permits posted. Not sure if this is a sediment problem but should there not be a buffer next to the creek?

Thank you for your concern on this issue. ACEPD staff are following up with the property owners to address erosion and sedimentation that occured following the storm on 2/6. Staff are working with the owners to stabilize the site and to prevent further erosion and sedimentation of the adjacent creek bed and stormwater systems. If you have any specific concerns or questions feel free to contact the Water Resources group at 352-264-6800.
The City of Gainesville is reviewing the permitting status of the work on the property. For more information on this status contact City of Gainesville Environmental Coordinator Liliana Kolluri at 352-393-8188.
