Really deep pothole, southbound on more easterly lane, merging onto I215 from foothill. Second time Ive hit it, grrr, my fault the 2nd time, but amazing my car wasnt damaged, pls fix it

Pothole patching efforts are made regularly in this area but unfortunately due to roadway temperatures, as well as snowplow operations, temporary pothole material does come loose and is merely a short term solution until warmer roadway temperatures allow for a more permanent fix.
UDOT crews will continue to monitor this pothole, and fill when necessary, until spring when it can be repaired permanently.
